ZANU PF’S FAILED STRATEGY: A PIPE DREAM FOR ZIMBABWE’S CAR INDUSTRY
The terrorist, barbaric, desperate, spectacularly failing, plundering, looting, illegitimate, parasitic, pestilential, cancerous Zanu PF is at it again. If you are foolish and new to the political landscape of Zimbabwe, you might think this vile party, responsible for the state paralysis, is capable of formulating a successful strategy. This party is also responsible for the plundering and looting of Willowvale Motors.
Imagine, although it is impossible, that Zimbabwe starts making cars. Who will buy these cars? Globally, there are already established brands like Toyota, Land Rover, and Ford. Would an agricultural-based economy suddenly offer something so novel to capture global demand? Internally, the situation is different. The middle and working class, who should absorb the output from a motor industry, are almost extinct. The peasants, who depend on the terrorist, barbaric, desperate, spectacularly failing, plundering, looting, illegitimate, parasitic, pestilential, cancerous Zanu PF for weaponized agricultural aid distributed along partisan lines, practice archaic, unproductive agricultural methods like Pfumvudza. These peasants will never buy these cars but will only dream about them. This is not their fault. This is entirely because of the persistent and chronic illegitimacy of the above-mentioned vile party.
That is not all. For the four decades that the terrorist, barbaric, desperate, spectacularly failing, plundering, looting, illegitimate, parasitic, pestilential, cancerous Zanu PF has been in power illegitimately, it has never implemented a single successful strategy, especially regarding the welfare of the people. The party deliberately neglects the people’s welfare in its selfish pursuit of illicit self-enrichment by plundering and looting the country’s natural, non-renewable resources. This is evidenced in the illegal displacements of civilians by the Chinese and the military, as seen in Chegutu, and the misuse of fiscal resources, as exposed annually in the auditor general’s reports.
Moreover, the very same people who ran down Willowvale Motors are the same people formulating a so-called strategy for the revival of a non-existent sector. In other words, the fiscal resources, if any exist given the reasonable assumption that this is desperate political rhetoric, will be looted before a single car is manufactured. This is because there is no accountability, transparency, or good governance. Besides, the food insecurity crisis and the liquidity crunch threatening next year’s inevitable disastrous agricultural season need urgent fixing first.
So, the very same people who ran down Willowvale Motors are trying to revive a non-existent sector. The fiscal resources, if any exist, will be looted before a single car is manufactured. This is because there is no accountability, transparency, or good governance. Besides, the food insecurity crisis and the liquidity crunch threatening next year’s agricultural season need urgent fixing first.
Zanu PF’s strategies are always doomed to fail. The idea of reviving the car industry in Zimbabwe is just a distraction from the real issues. The country needs solutions to food insecurity and economic instability, not empty promises of an industry that cannot compete globally or locally. The same corrupt individuals who destroyed Willowvale Motors cannot be trusted to build a new industry. Their track record shows they are only interested in looting and self-enrichment.
In conclusion, the idea of Zimbabwe starting a car industry is nothing but a pipe dream. The terrorist, barbaric, desperate, spectacularly failing, plundering, looting, illegitimate, parasitic, pestilential, cancerous Zanu PF cannot be trusted to implement any successful strategy. The country needs real solutions to its problems, not empty promises from a corrupt and illegitimate party.
