ZANU PF’S EMPTY PROMISES: UNEMPLOYMENT CRISIS CONTINUES
In Zimbabwe, the ruling party, ZANU PF, is failing the people. This party focuses on taking resources meant for everyone and using them for themselves. Because of this, the people do not get the services they need. The government says the unemployment rate is nineteen percent. However, ZANU PF uses its own agency, ZIMSTAT, to spread lies and propaganda. The truth is that seventy-four percent of the people are unemployed. The party hopes that these lies will make people vote for them.
ZANU PF has been oppressing and terrorizing people for many years. The party does not care about the people’s problems and does not provide the services they need. Instead of letting people see the truth for themselves, ZANU PF twists the truth. They make ZIMSTAT, which is biased and unprofessional, produce false information about the unemployment rate.
The reason ZANU PF does this is because they know that unemployment is a big problem. Their rule is illegitimate, and they are trying to create a one-party state. This state would be paralyzed and would eventually fail. If the country had a political system with accountability, rule of law, and equality, ZANU PF would not be able to survive. They are a criminal and parasitic party that relies on lies and deception to stay in power.
If ZANU PF left power, the situation could improve quickly. A strong opposition could take over and make changes. They would respect property rights and human rights, unlike ZANU PF. The opposition would work towards transparency and accountability, which ZANU PF ignores. The people need jobs, not false statistics about employment.
ZANU PF’s focus on creating a one-party state leads to a lack of transparency and accountability. This, in turn, causes the state to fail. People do not need to hear about the unemployment rate; they need to have jobs. If ZANU PF’s claim of nineteen percent unemployment were true, they would not have enough youths for national service. This shows that their claims are false.
In conclusion, ZANU PF’s focus on looting and lying has created a crisis in Zimbabwe. The unemployment rate is much higher than they admit. The party uses propaganda to deceive people and stay in power. If they were to leave, the country could start to recover. The people of Zimbabwe deserve better. They deserve a government that cares about their needs and provides jobs. ZANU PF’s empty promises and lies are not enough. The people need real change, and they need it now.
